Elīna Garanča

“Her voice is a gorgeously plum-coloured, velvet-upholstered instrument of awe-inspiring smoothness, power and flexibility, matched to a powerhouse technique and highly intelligent musicality. Her lower register is quite magnificent.” (The Daily Telegraph, november 2016)
Born to a musician family in Riga, Latvia, the mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča is one of the great classical singers on the international scene today.
On her Brazilian debut, in June 2019 at Sala São Paulo, she will be singing accompanied by the Mozarteum Brasileiro Academy Orchestra, under the baton of the American conductor Constantine Orbelian.
