[:en]Spanish born in Siete Aguas, Valencia; he studied percussion in the Royal Top Conservatoire of Music of Madrid and in the Musikhochschule of Berlin. He completed his studies of piano and composition with the teacher Antón García Abril and of direction of orchestra with the Maestro Enrique García Asensio, obtaining the Extraordinary Prize ‘End of Career’. At the age of 20 he obtained a professorship of the National Orchestra of Spain, where still it continues giving classes.
From 1990 he expands his formation of direction of orchestra in Siena (Italy) with the Maestro Ferdinand Leitner, in Saluzzo (Italy), with the Maestro Aldo Ceccato, in Bach-Akademie of Stuttgart (Germany) with the Maestro Helmut Rilling, in the Tanglewood Music Center, in Massachussetts (USA) with the Maestros Seiji Ozawa and Bernhard Haitink.
In 2000 he founded the Orchestra and Choir Filarmonía, of which nowadays he is The Titular Conductor. This company has been consolidated as modal inside the panorama of classic music of Spain, outstanding for having its own season of concerts, in the National Auditorium of Madrid. The orchestra Filarmonía played for nine years in the RTVE’s program ‘The Conciertazo’ directed by Fernando Argenta.
It has conducted practically all the Spanish orchestras and, out of Spain,he has collaborated with the Savaria Chamber Orchestra (Hungary), Philharmonic of Pleven (Bulgaria), London Philarmonic (United Kingdom), Constanta’s Opera (Romania), Symphonic Orchestra of Peru, Symphonic National of Ecuador, New World Orchestra (Mexico) and Symphonic Orchestra of Chile. From 2013 to 2015 he was a Maestro of Direction of Orchestra of the Royal Top Conservatoire of Music of Madrid and from 2015 it conducts the Anthology of the Zarzuela, which President of Honor is Plácido Domingo.
He has conducted productions of opera like Turandot, Otello, Norma, Carmen or The Traviata, between others; and of zarzuela: ‘La Rosa del Azafrán’, ‘La del Soto del Parral’, ‘La del Manojo de Rosas’, ‘Doña Francisquita’ and ‘Luisa Fernanda’ between others.
In 2013 he was rewarded with the prize ‘Español Ejemplar’ granted by the Community of Madrid for his contribution to the Spanish Music because of his stable Season with his orchestra, the Orchestra Filarmonía, in the National Auditorium. Also with the Prize ‘Cultura Viva’ in the category of ‘Music’ for his contribution to the maintenance and diffusion of the Spanish Music and promotion of the works of Spanish alive composers.
He was a member of the Spanish representation in the commemoration of 10 º anniversary of the attempts of September 11, and the conductor of the concert offered in the headquarters of the UNO in New York.[:]
